What is the difference between Gold + Real time data and platinium which I thought was the real time package?
Thank you for your help

Platinum service adds the following features on top of all of the features included with Gold service in v16.
Unlimited Alerts on Price, Indicators & Trendlines (requires realtime feed of some sort to work in v16)
Auto-Refresh Streaming Scan Results
Auto-Refresh Sorting
Full streaming realtime data for U.S. Stocks is now a $14.99 / month feed which can be added to either Gold or Platinum (which also provides Forex data, pre and post market data and the ability to set 100 alerts in v16). Full streaming real time data for U.S. Indexes is now a $9.99 / month feed which can be added to and requires the real time data for stocks.
You are currently grandfathered into a $9.25 / month real time exchange fee with your Platinum service which gives you the both full streaming real time feeds. If you downgrade from Platinum to Gold you would lose this rate and would have to pay $14.99 / month for Realtime for U.S. Stocks and $9.99 / month for Realtime for U.S. Indexes.

I see. Thank you for the detailed response. Appreciate it.
Gold + Real time can one view intraday stock charts / intraday scans? Or one needs platinium for it.
Looks like one will not get any value from gold if they do not subscrive to realtime data as alerts and most functionality do not work.
If we get real time stock data but do not get realtime index data, would we able to view the index data EOD in all timeframes?
Gold is 100 Active Alerts max. Correct?
Thank you for your help.

Gold and US Stocks RT allows intraday charts, WL Columns, sorts and scans in v16. You get all of this in v16 without RT as well, just 15 minute delayed.
You will not get pre/post market data, intraday WL Columns, Sorts and scans in v12 with Gold even with the US Stocks RT feed. You would get bid/ask in v12 with Gold and RT.
Without the RT Index feed the index data is still intraday, it is just 15 minute delayed.
There is a maximum of 100 alerts in Gold (and you need RT to use Alerts in v16).
If you don't use alerts, there is a lot of functionality in Gold without a RT feed. You still get intraday data, it is just 15 minute delayed. You can now even do intraday sorts and scans in v16 (which is not possible with Gold in v12).

And you can still get BATS data, free Comtex news, Twitter, Chat, User Groups, Shared Notes and up to 100 alerts with Gold in TC2000 v12 without a RT data feed.
The usefulness of Gold without RT really depends on what you need or want for your particular trading style.

Thank you again for the detailed response. Appreciate it.
100 Alert limit in gold, is it measured per day / per week? Or max 100 anytime active?
Just to confirm there are no exchange fees for Gold + RT. Correct? 29.99 + 14.99. No other additional charges?
Thank you.

The alert limit for Gold is a maximum of 100 active alerts. You can create as many alerts as you want over any span of time, but you can only have 100 active alerts showing in the Alert Console when Show Old Items is not checked.
The $14.99 / month includes non-professional exchange fees. So Gold + US Stocks RT without any other services would be $29.99 / month + $14.99 / month for a total of $44.98 / month (assuming you are not classified by the exchanges as a pro).

Quote from Bruce's post from Thursday, December 17, 2015 3:19:13 PM above:
"Without the RT Index feed the index data is still intraday, it is just 15 minute delayed."
So unlike stocks which benefit from the BATS approximation for the 15 minute delay, the indexes
have no BATS approximation and are delayed 15 minutes from real time.
The only way to get real time index data is to pay $9.99/month for the real time US Index data feed.

U.S. stock real-time for $14.99 is a prerequisite for the U.S. Index feed so you would need to add both to get real time data on indexes.

So if I add the $14.99 RT data feed to Gold with V16,do I also get pre and post market data?
The above seems to say so.

I currently have the Gold plan with the real time stock add on. It still says 15 min delay in tc2000. Do I need to turn something on?
