Hi Bruce,

Just checked my TCMail ... my version of your TTM Squeeze is ancient history (July 2017. LOL.).

Can you send me your latest & greatist version?

Thanks!

Bruce, thanks!

Got the email. See it in my Inbox. Double-clicking ain't working, at least at the moment. Tried other, older TCMails, same thing.

Will give it a few minutes while I flirt with the barista. If that doesn'r work, I'll close TC2000 and open it up again. If that doesn't work, I'll reboot the laptop. If THAT doesn't work, I'll throw the laptop out the window. :)

Fingers crossed.

Got it. Just a little latency issue. Poured a shot of espresso down the USB port to speed things up. :)

Bruce, just got home - looking to play around with this after dinner ...

In addition to plotting the indicator on the chart, I'd like to add condition columns to my watchlist so I can either eyeball, sort, or scan the status of all my tickers.

Can I just use the PCFs as is? And I noticed there are only two PCFs for momentum, but there are four colors on the histogram? How did you pull that off?

Ideally, I'd like six condition columns that I can sort/scan lists by:

  • Squeeze On
  • Squeeze Off
  • Momentum Rising, Below Centerline
  • Momentum Rising, Above Centerline
  • Momentum Fallling, Above Centerline
  • Momentum Falling, Below Centerline

Thanks!

Do you see the two tabs pinned to the left side of the chart?

These have Custom PCF % True Indicators which can be edited to reveal Boolean Formulas which can be used to create the desired conditions.

If you want say, Momentum Rising, Below Centerline, you would create a scan using both the formula from < 0 and the formula from Up as a WatchList Column (or you could combine the formulas into a single formula using AND).

You're awesome Bruce, thanks. I see the tabs - I'll take a crack at 'em after dinner.

Bruce, been going through my bookmarks and notes. Can't find the reference to the momentum calculation. I like it mainly because it's smoother than most plots. Do you know what it's calculating? Didn't someone else in these forums write that piece of it? Just curious.

Bruce,

Given that John Carter's 3rd edition of his book is dropping next month, I'm probably going to revisit the squeeze around the holidays.

Have you made any changes to your imlpementation since the beginning of this thread? (May 30th).

I'd love a copy of your latest & greatest version of the squeeze.

Thanks,
Bill

Bruce, on a side note, I haven't been lurking around the forums much lately ...

My world-famous avatar is MIA. Is it just me? Can you see it? I'm guessing whichever site I used to host the graphic probably removed it.

Thanks for the extra pair of eyes. Guessing tinypic did a little housecleaning. I'll add it to my list. :)

Weird. Not able to pull up tinypic.com. Maybe they just crashed temporarily. I'll check again later this week. Other fish to fry today.

On (another) side note, I still can't edit my profile, but that's a follow-up email to support.

Bruce, I appreciate all the help, both this year and years past ... enjoy your Thanksgiving!!

Hi,Bruce.

Can you please explain how to add Squeeze On column in the watchlist area? I tried to add condition column, but from some reason it doesn't give (show) me in search window "TTM Squeeze" or "Squeeze on".

There are two panes pinned to the left side of the chart. Based on your request, you want to click on the On / Off / Off to On / On to Off pinned pane. This should open it on the chart.

You can then click on the name of the desired condition on the chart and select Create Condition.... Make sure the indicator is one you selected and that Condition is set to Greater Than with Value at 0.00.

You can then select Add to... | Add Column (in the desired WatchList) to create your WatchList column.
