If it is a Boolean (true/false) it is stored as a condition. If it returns a numeric value, then it's a "Formula".

I just realized.. I see two diffrent windows pop up by doing

One

+NEW  > Condition (PCF) Formula

(Edit PCF windows . This only has Name. Timeframe and Formula space)

Two

EasyScan > New Condition > Write New Formula

(Edit Condition window. This has Name, Formula space, Formula Value, True , time frame)

so i have a formula avgc7/avgc65 >= 1.05. i am able to enter this via both ways.

i get the same results both ways.

So i am unable to understand when to use which one..

can you please provide examples.

Thanks

The New | Condition (PCF) Formula just creates a condition formula which can be used anywhere.

The EasyScan | New Condition | Write New Formula also creates a condition formula, but the context of being within an EasyScan allows you to set the other requirements.

If you add a condition formula created the first way to an EasyScan, you should also get the other options because it will now be in an EasyScan.

It shouldn't matter at all which one you use.
