Hello.
Is it possible to plot a calcuation graphically forward in time on a chart? Could I extrapolate a gaussian data point in the future?
If not on a chart, could this be done elsewise?
Thank you.

It is not possible to do on the chart. You can shift plots forward by offsetting them, but they will still stop where price stops plotting.
The only workaround I can think of for such plotting within the program would be to use a negative offset on all of the other plots. This would shift them left instead of right. Then you could have a plot which ended where price ends which would be plotted to the right of all of the other plots.
Note that you can't actually shift price and still use a HLC Bar, OHLC Bar, or Candlestick Plot Style. The only way to shift price is to apply a 1-period moving average and shift the moving average.

Hi, Bruce. Thank you for the ideas. I will step back and think about what I'm trying to do and then return with another way to think about it. Thanks again for the superb ideas and help.
