There are basically three different versions of TC2000 version 12.4. All versions should have very similar behavior and performance between different platforms if that platform is capable of running it.

The version with the fewest features in TC2000 for Mobile Phones. It is designed to run on an iPhone or Android phone and can function with relatively small screens with lower resolution.

TC2000 for Mobile Phones

A step up is the HTML5 version of TC2000 version 12.4 designed primarily for tablets. It should work on iPads, Android Tablets and Kindle Fire. It has more features and higher resolution than the phone version.

TC2000 for Tablets

The above versions are not designed to actually create or edit WatchLists, EasyScans and charts. These versions are designed to view stuff you have created in the full desktop version of TC2000 version 12.4.

To run the full desktop version of TC2000 version 12.4, you need to be able to run Silverlight. This is not an option currently on iPhones, iPads, Android, Kindle or Windows RT.

It is an option with a full version of Windows, on Macs and in some Linux distributions (with some work).

TC2000 version 12.4

So currently the easist way to run the full desktop version TC2000 version 12.4 on a tablet is to get a tablet running a full version of Windows.

There are some rumors that Windows 10 is going to bring Silverlight to any device which can run it, but this is just rumor at this point. I wouldn't buy something running Windows RT in hopes that it will run the full version of TC2000 version 12.4 when upgraded to Windows 10.

After that would come tablets with decent screen size and resolution (iPad or Android should be just fine) which can run the HTML5 version of TC2000.

Then would come devices with small screens and lower resolution which would be limited to the phone version of TC2000.

If the tablet is running Windows 10 Home or Pro (not Windows 10s), then yes, you can place real trades through a TC2000 Brokerage account.

Windows 10S will only let you use apps from the Windows Store so you would not even be able to install TC2000 with Windows 10S.

Please make sure it isn't Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 10 IoT, or Windows 10 S as these versions will not run TC2000. Any version of TC2000 which can run legacy applications (and not just the apps from the Windows app store) will work.
