Hi Bruce,

On TC2000 Version 7, I'm trying to write a PCF which accomplishes the following:

On Zoom Level 6, ALL these conditions need to be TRUE

1. DJ-30 Relative Strength: Its exp 10 day MA line is crossing its exp 40 day MA line UPWARDS

AND

2. Mid--X Relative Strength: Its exp 10 day MA line is crossing its exp 40 day MA line UPWARDS

AND

3. COMPQX Relative Strength: Its exp 10 day MA line is crossing its exp 40 day MA line UPWARDS

Could you please help?

Thanks

There isn't a way to do this in TC2000 v7.

How would I write a PCF where price is close to or near

 {OS} AVGC13 - 1.5 * SQR(ABS(C ^ 2 + C1 ^ 2 + C2 ^ 2 + C3 ^ 2 + C4 ^ 2 + C5 ^ 2 + C6 ^ 2 + C7 ^ 2 + C8 ^ 2 + C9 ^ 2 + C10 ^ 2 + C11 ^ 2 + C12 ^ 2 - 13 * AVGC13 ^ 2) / 12)

and below and turning up

Thank you

The following checks for price to be going up during the current bar, going down during the previous bar, below the formula, and less than 1% away from the formula.

C > C1 AND C1 < C2 AND ABS(C / (AVGC13 - 1.5 * SQR(ABS(C ^ 2 + C1 ^ 2 + C2 ^ 2 + C3 ^ 2 + C4 ^ 2 + C5 ^ 2 + C6 ^ 2 + C7 ^ 2 + C8 ^ 2 + C9 ^ 2 + C10 ^ 2 + C11 ^ 2 + C12 ^ 2 - 13 * AVGC13 ^ 2) / 12)) - .995) < .005

The .995 is 0.5% below the formula is the center of the range being checked. The .005 represents 0.5%. So the formula is checking for price to be within 0.5% of 0.5% below the formula.

If you wanted it to be 2% instead of 1%, you would change the .995 to .99 and the .005 to .01.
