Hi,

I have a watchlist sorted by a Realcode indicator from a pane that is using intraday bars.

I want to add bubbles to each symbol using a condition that is on a pane which uses daily bars.

If I click the condition and select Scan, my watchlist cancels the sort that I had in place and adds colored bubbles to the symbols.

When I tried to sort using the indicator column that I began with, then the scan bubbles are removed.

I want to keep them and also  be able to sort by any watchlist column.

How to do that?

What does Scan and Paint mean?  I couldn't find that in the User Guide.

Steve

Choose Condition Column instead of Sort (or clicking on the condition and choosing Scan) when you drag and drop the condition from the chart to the WatchList.

Choose Data Column instead of Sort (or clicking on the indicator and choosing Scan) when you drag and drop indicators from the chart to the WatchList.

You will still be able to use the WatchList Column as a sort by clicking on the name of that WatchList Column, but it won't be automatically replaced by another sort.

Scanning is adding a WatchList Colum based on the condition and using at as a sort.

Painting means coloring the price bar the color of the condition when it is true.

Scan and Paint just does both actions with one click.
