Dear All,

I am novice to Telechart and would like to get the formula for the following condition:

1. CURRENT PRICE IS ABOVE Mov.Avg 15
and
RS: DJ-30 is just crossed above MovAvg 30
and
TSV 28 is above or just crossed above MovAvg 15

2. CURRENT PRICE IS ABOVE Mov.Avg 15
and
RS: DJ-30 is just crossed above MovAvg 30
and
TSV 28 is above or just crossed MovAvg 15
and
RSI: Prd 9; Avg: 30 is above MovAvg 30

3. CURRENT PRICE IS ABOVE Mov.Avg 15
and
RS: DJ-30 is just crossed above MovAvg 30
and
TSV 28 is above or just crossed MovAvg 15
and
RS: DJ-30 has just crossed above RSI: Prd 9; Avg: 30

Appreciate your quick help!

Welcome to the forums. A very good foundation for learning how to use TeleChart can be gained by reviewing the following:

If you are new to TeleChart READ THIS FIRST!

QUOTE (sjag97)
CURRENT PRICE IS ABOVE Mov.Avg 15

If the Moving Average is Simple:

C > AVGC15

If the Moving Average is Exponential:

C > XAVGC15

QUOTE (sjag97)
RS: DJ-30 is just crossed above MovAvg 30

I do not know of a practical automated method of writing Relative Strength PCFs in TeleChart. You may wish to review the following for a semi-automated technique for creating Relative Strength in a Personal Criteria Formula:

Indexes in PCF's
RSMA PCFs

QUOTE (sjag97)
TSV 28 is above or just crossed above MovAvg 15

If the TSV is Simple and the Moving Average is Simple:

TSV28 > AVG(TSV28,15)

If the TSV is Simple and the Moving Average is Exponential:

TSV28 > XAVG(TSV28,15)

If the TSV is Exponential and the Moving Average is Simple:

XAVG(TSV,28) > XAVG(TSV15,28)

If the TSV is Exponential and the Moving Average is Exponential:

XAVG(TSV,28) < XAVG(TSV,15)

QUOTE (sjag97)
RSI: Prd 9; Avg: 30 is above MovAvg 30

If the RSI is Simple and the Moving Average is Simple and Use Wilders Smoothing is unchecked.

RSI9.30 > AVG(RSI9.30,30)

If the RSI is Simple and the Moving Average is Exponential and Use Wilders Smoothing is unchecked.

RSI9.30 > XAVG(RSI9.30,30)

If the RSI is Exponential and the Moving Average is Simple and Use Wilders Smoothing is unchecked.

XAVG(RSI9,30) > XAVG(RSI9.30,30)

If the RSI is Exponential and the Moving Average is Exponential and Use Wilders Smoothing is unchecked.

XAVG(RSI9,30) > .0645789155461771 * (XAVG(RSI9,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.1,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.2,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.3,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.4,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.5,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.6,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.7,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.8,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.9,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.10,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.11,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.12,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.13,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.14,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.15,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.16,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.17,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.18,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.19,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.20,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.21,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.22,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.23,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.24,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.25,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.26,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.27,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.28,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.29,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.30,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.31,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.32,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.33,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.34,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.35,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.36,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.37,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.38,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.39,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.40,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.41,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.42,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.43,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.44,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.45,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.46,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.47,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.48,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.49,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.50,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.51,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.52,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.53,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.54,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.55,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.56,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.57,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.58,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.59,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.60,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.61,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.62,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.63,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.64,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.65,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.66,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.67,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.68,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.69,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.70,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.71,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.72,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.73,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.74,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.75,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.76,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.77,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.78,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.79,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.80,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.81,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.82,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.83,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.84,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.85,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.86,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.87,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.88,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.89,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.90,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.91,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.92,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.93,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.94,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.95,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.96,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.97,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.98,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.99,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.100,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.101,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.102,30) + 29 / 31 * (XAVG(RSI9.1.103,30)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Any version of your settings with Use Wilders Smoothing checked results in a formula that is too long to be practical.

QUOTE (sjag97)
RS: DJ-30 has just crossed above RSI: Prd 9; Avg: 30

RS: DJ-30 and RSI: Prd 9; Avg: 30 are not on the same scale. Their crossovers and relative positions are meaningless and can and will change with Scroll and Zoom.

Combining the various components is just a matter of connecting them with AND into a single Personal Criteria Formula or having them as individual PCFs used as EasyScan Conditions in the same EasyScan. You may wish to review the following:
