I can not seem to grasp this coding stuff.  Have tried for several hours, so maybe somebody can help me.

I want to plot a daily indicator on my price graph that shows the net of daily closing price of stock minus (3 times the 15 day Ma of daily ATR (period 0))

Thanks in advance!

guess I should add that I have the ATR (period 0) not visible, and the 15 day MA of ATR (visible) in the bottom window below the daily stock price screen.

If I'm understanding what you want to do correctly, one option would be to create a RealCode Indicator. If you Drag and Drop the Moving Average of ATR into the Code tab of the RealCode Editor, it should create something similar to the first line of the following RealCode Indicator:

'# MA = chart.MovingAverage
'# Cumulative
Plot = Price.Last - 3 * MA.Value

You can then Drag and Drop the RealCode Indicator to the Price Pane and select Overlay. You may need to right-click on the Indicator and select Scaling | Scale With | Price to get it into the same Scale.
