hi,

i am using the gap up scan to looking for stocks. just wondering can someone hlep to explain the formula what is it mean?

Gappers

-1*(L>H1)+-2(H<L1)

i understand what L and H1, L1 mean, but what does the -1 and -2 mean?

thanks,

The -1 and -2 are there as part of the server on the formula and are converted to the words Gap Up and Gap Down when used as a WatchList Column.

This only works on the server. If you were to create the formula on your own, it would return 0, 1 or 2 instead of returning Gap Up or Gap Down.
